Heffley Lake Cottage Testimonials

Second time here. 5 out of 5 stars.  This place is awesome.  You couldn't find a better place tostay at a lake, especially if you have children and "adult" kids.  Lots of lake and other toys as listed in description.  Kitchen has "everything" you need!  Owners are very easy and agreeable to communicate with.  We will probably make a third trip, worth the 8 hour drive.

5 out of 5 stars - In this time of Covid it was lovely to be surrounded by trees and the lake.  Never used hand sanitizer once!  Lovely and clean, loads of fun (and stairs!).  Everyone of us from age 5 - 65 had a blast.  Our weather wasn't the best but there was so much to do no one minded.

Stunning lakeside home.  Superb location and home had everything we needed, and more.  It was so peaceful by the lake, the weather was kind to us so we were able to make use of the paddle boards and kayaks.  Owners were extremely helpful and even called in during our stay to check everything was ok.  Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this gorgeous home and would highly recommend it.

Perfect base for Sun Peaks adventure

Great cabin!  Well equipped kitchen.  Perfect for a family vacation.  Loved it for our home base when skiing at Sun Peaks.  I imagine it will be the most amazing summer retreat!

Great stay! The owners were very pleasant to deal with.  The house is very well equipped; particularly good if you enjoy cooking.  The ping-pong table in the basement was a really nice bonus!  Driving to Sun Peaks was approx. 15 minutes; it's a great place to stay if you want to enjoy a ski week/weekend, but away from Sun Peaks village.

Girls Weekend 2016

We have stayed at the Bear Bottom Lodge (same owner) for 2 previous girls weekends and were very excited to see a new property available with very different surroundings... we were definitely not disappointed :) another fabulous weekend... thank you so very much for another amazing experience...

Relaxation, at it's best!

A lovely spot on the lake!. Comfy and cozy seating on the large deck overlooks the amazing view. Outdoor kitchen, fire pit and all the toys for the lake makes this a great destination for everyone. The cottage inside lacks for nothing. A lovely kitchen and wood stove creates a warm and inviting environment. I will definitely look forward to another visit!

Beautiful spot on the lake to relax and enjoy. No need to go inside when the weather is warm, the huge deck with comfortable seating and outdoor kitchen has everything you need. Inside the cottage, the warm wood stove and cozy living room is welcoming. The lovely new kitchen makes preparing meals and snacks a breeze. Very comfortable beds and warm bedding. Everything you could possibly want or need is right here for everyone. Can't wait to go back next year.

Wonderful vacation spot

Beautiful scenery, ducks, squirrel and chipmunk.  The inside is amazing with lots of room and space to move around in and be comfortable.  Can't wait to go back next year.
